School is winding down and plans for summer are underway. The Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee's Summer Fun Club is now taking applications for children between the ages of 6 and 12 years. Camp begins Monday, June 28 and runs through Friday, August 20, 2010. The fee for each week is $130 and includes all activities and field trips, a t-shirt, lunch and snack. Summer Fun Club hours are 8:30 am until 4:30 pm with pre- (7:30 am - 8:30 am) and post-program hours (4:30 - 5:30) available for an additional $15 per week.
Weekly activities include games, arts & crafts, technology/computer skills, tennis, baseball, performing arts, archery (girls only), nutrition, swimming, and more. This summer's field trips include Play Bosquest, Quassy Amusement Park, Ocean Beach, Interskat 91, Southwick Zoo, AMF Bowling, Breezy Picnic Water Slides, Look Park and more.
